Sliver... not silver but the moon is painted silver because it would be just silly to have a gold moon...now wouldn't it?
This is number three in my subject of fairy ladies in really cool dresses. I painted this one in purples and payne's gray because I loved the dreamy look I got with number two, By Invitation Only. However, the composition was getting too boring so I added some really severe drips to convey more emotion. With her back turned away from the audience, I felt there needed to be more going on with the environment around her... like an emerging storm. This is also my first time painting iris. I like them but I don't. I think I need to work on the plant part a little more. They still look a little stiff. Enjoy |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
